Cincinnati RACES has been formed at the request of the City of Cincinnati.

Our mission is to serve the City of Cincinnati during a communication emergency when RACES has been activated. RACES is an acronym for Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service. It is formed under Part 97 of the FCC's Rules.

Our primary operating control point will be at the new Emergency Operations Center. We will utilize the radio communications talents and experience of the local amateur radio community in order to augment emergency communications for the City of Cincinnati.
